The Houston Texans lost another game after a disappointing second half. The Detroit Lions hit a field goal as time expired to win 26-23.

Here are 11 observations from the loss.

  1. A putrid second half of football led to an all-time choke job by the Houston Texans. The offense scored zero points and the defense couldn’t hold on as the Detroit Lions completed a furious comeback win despite playing bad football for a good portion of the game. One of the best halves of the season was slowly erased by an inability to put anything together offensively. What could have been a hallmark victory for the Texans turned into a hallmark defeat.
