11 Observations From Day Six of Houston Texans Training Camp
C.J. Stroud and Jayden Higgins highlight the offense for the day
The Houston Texans worked in pads again for their sixth training camp workout.
Here are 11 observations from the practice.
C.J. Stroud had an excellent day. He showcased sound decision-making, spreading the ball around. He handled messy pockets and pressure well. He threw a strike to Nico Collins in the 1-on-1 portion, getting the ball past Kamari Lassiter, who blanketed the wideout. Trent Brown spoke with Landry Locker and me after practice (the interview will post Thursday) and said Stroud’s confidence is much higher than last season. The increased confidence has been apparent, not just in his demeanor, but in how he trusts the offense.
