14 Observations from Texans-Dolphins Joint Practices Day 1
It was the 15th day of workouts, but the first joint practice and it was a solid day for both teams.
The Houston Texans had joint practices for the first time in years as the Miami Dolphins were in town. Wednesday was the first of two practices with Miami. I will write almost in order of the practice with some other observations mixed in.
Here are 14 observations from the joint practice on August 16.
C.J. Stroud had a good good day overall. I felt like he started fast, slowed down, and then came back with a vengeance against the defense of the Dolphins. He made a lot of quick decisions with the ball. DeMeco Ryans always talks about the operation of the offense. I felt like Stroud did an excellent job with it. A great showing when you consider this is just the second opposing NFL defense he has gone against.
