The Houston Texans trailed when the game was called with the Chicago Bears leading 21-17 over the Texans. The official line was the game was terminated. It makes sense with the potential that weather lingers over the stadium. It is unfortunate for players clawing and scratching for a spot.

Here are 11 observations from the game which ended early.

  1. Davis Mills looked excellent in his action. He handled the operation of the offense well and was crisp with his passes. The handoff mishap was one of the only mistakes. Mills even shook a defender to get loose and make a nice pass. He is working to solidify his candidacy for the backup quarterback spot.
