11 Observations from the Eleventh Training Camp Practice of 2024
The offense finally had a big day beating the defense
The Houston Texans are still in Ohio practicing in Cleveland's suburbs as they prepare for their second preseason game. The team is working out at University School which is where general manager Nick Caserio went to high school and played quarterback. The Texans sent their ground crew to ensure the field was up to NFL standards. It is a woodsy and beautiful location with cooler weather than Houston.
Here are 11 observations from the practice.
The offense won the day. I had been hoping to see this with the offense as previous practices have been defensive victories. It was decisive too. C.J. Stroud was excellent with only one small hiccup and it felt like everyone was getting involved. A great start to the week for the offense with their first unquestioned practice victory.
