C.J. Stroud finally played with the offensive line he needs to play with
The Houston Texans practiced a little later starting just before afternoon in the Houston heat. It was a solid practice that had more tempo than the Sunday workout.
Here are 11 observations from the practice.
The expected starting offensive line for week one took the field for the first time today. There is still work to be done before they are a cohesive unit but they looked good in pass blocking. Laremy Tunsil, Kenyon Green, Juice Scruggs, Shaq Mason, and Tytus Howard aren't going to let many get to C.J. Stroud. I didn't see a ton of success from them on the ground but there is time for that to click. It is just nice to finally see this group together after it never got going last season.
