Here are 11 observations from the Thursday workout.

1. The defense decidedly won day two. Yesterday would have been a split decision in favor of the offense. Today was a unanimous decision in favor of the defense. Not quite a knockout, but the defense won. They had success at all three levels. The defense seemed more prepared for the quick game of the offense. That’s a key for the offense and the defense. Houston needs to be able to pivot when the short game doesn’t work. The defense will see a lot of quick game.
