The Houston Texans again opted for a midday workout as they prepare for their third preseason game against the New York Giants in Houston on Saturday.

Here are 11 observations from the practice.

  1. Stefon Diggs is a perfectionist. His practice habits have been a talking point but it was on display today. During individual drills, he mistimed a jump missing a C.J. Stroud pass. He asked for another rep and went to the back of the line to haul in the pass. During 1-on-1 action Diggs dropped a crisp, perfect Stroud pass. He’d beaten Kamari Lassiter but couldn’t come up with it. He again hoped for another rep and was rewarded with an opportunity. Perfection on both ends this time. That was about the last time anyone had success against Diggs in practice. Video below.
