The Houston Texans had pads on again as training camp rolled on. It was a competitive practice with four different team sessions of work.

Here are 11 observations from the practice.

  1. Will Anderson is an absolute monster. He makes things that certainly aren’t easy look easy. The second-year defensive end is in midseason form already. Rookie tackle Blake Fisher has a few small victories but overwhelmingly Anderson wins their matchups. He set the tone on the first snap of the team period darting through the defensive line to stop running back Dameon Pierce for no gain or a slight loss.
