The Houston Texans wrapped up their final practice before the preseason opener on Thursday. They will travel to Canton, OH for a matchup with the Chicago Bears tomorrow.
Here are 11 observations from the practice.
The offense again struggled with consistency against the defense. The defense was winning at every level. The pass rush was troublesome, but the coverages were often excellent. The safeties made plays in the back end. Short stuff worked for the offense sometimes but it would be quickly wrapped up by defenders. The offense didn’t look disjointed the defense just kept making plays.
