The Houston Texans continued training camp in Ohio practicing again at the University School in the suburbs of Cleveland.

Here are 11 observations from the practice.

  1. The defense was back on top. The offense won yesterday but the defense got their payback today. Offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik said the field’s slipperiness and the wet conditions affected the offense more than the defense. He didn’t make an excuse but added the defense adjusted and the offense didn’t. He said it was good for the Texans to practice in the conditions because they will play in games like that. C.J. Stroud and his teammates on offense were visibly frustrated by the lack of consistency.
