The Houston Texans won their second preseason game defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers 20-12. The starters played sparingly early as DeMeco Ryans promised they would.
Here are 11 observations from the game.
Welcome back, Tank Dell! The Texans saw third down on the opponent’s side of the field when C.J. Stroud stepped back and ripped one to Dell in the zone of the Steelers. Dell did the dirty work and fought into the endzone for a score. Stefon Diggs was open on the play too and the veteran threw his arms up in excitement as Dell caught the ball and headed for the score. It will be interesting to see how often a drive suddenly goes from third and long to a big play for the Texans. That might be a sign of things to come.
