The Houston Texans are now 6-3 with serious questions about the floor and ceiling of this team. 21-13 shouldn’t feel like a score where you would say a team is embarrassed but they were.

Here are 11 observations from the loss to the Jets.

  1. The Texans got dominated in the second half. Fans of the Jets were chanting “sell the team” in the first half and reveling in a beatdown during the second half. New York made massive adjustments and the Texans didn’t. The issues out of halftime continued to persist for the Texans. They haven’t scored a second-half touchdown since the game in New England. This time the defense joined in with the poor tackling and poor production. C.J. Stroud wasn’t good in critical moments and ugly issues that have persisted for weeks were uglier than ever.
