The Houston Texans are AFC South champions.
The Tennessee Titans defeat of the Jacksonville Jaguars led to the Texans earning the AFC South crown and the fourth overall seed in the AFC.
The Texans will now face the Cleveland Browns at NRG Stadium next weekend.
The day and time is still to be determined. I would guess the first playoff game of the weekend has a strong chance of being the slot for the Texans and Browns.
Cleveland came to NRG Stadium a few weeks ago and dominated the Texans. Amari Cooper had a record-setting game against the Texans and the Cleveland defense dominated the C.J. Stroud-less Texans offense. Will Anderson and Blake Cashman also missed for the defense of the Texans.
I would bet on a different performance from the Texans this time around.
What an amazing season we have had.....so far!!
After watching the SpOilers knock off the Glitter Kittens I can only imagine the excitement it generated from top to bottom at NRG Stadium. Cal and Hannah, Nick, Demeco and his staff as well as the team get to raise the AFC South Champions banner into the rafters!!! The first of many more to come in the DeMeco and Stroud era........
Next step......a FIRST in Texan's history...Something we all as fans could only dream about.
Lifting the AFC Championship banner!!!!
Can we do it?.....THAT depends on how much this Band of Brothers want it......The talent is there....They just need to maintain focus on their jobs...play with their hair on fire.....and never lose their faith in themselves and their Brothers.
Like DeMeco said...."We didn't come this far just to come this far!!!"
I believe him.
KEEPING THE FAITH!!!
GO TEXANS!!!
