Are the Jaguars as Good as Their Record?
Jacksonville comes to town with a good record but is it a good team?
I’m not sure the Jacksonville Jaguars are a great football team. In fact, I lied. I know they aren’t a great team. They might simply be good. Good might be good enough on some days, but it might not fly on Sunday.
The Houston Texans have a chance to put some good distance between them and the Jacksonville Jaguars despite a win resulting in each of the teams having the same record of 7-4. Houston has what is supposed to be one of the easiest schedules left while there remains a much tougher road to the end for Jacksonville.
They just have to do something they seem to almost always do: beat the Jaguars.
This is a weird Jaguars team. They’ve lost just once since the Texans beat them, a shellacking at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers. None of their wins are remarkable. I suppose you can say winning in New Orleans against the Saints the way they did was fine. Beating the hapless Steelers in Pittsburgh doesn’t do much for me. A win over the struggling Titans isn’t impressive.
