The Houston Texans won their preseason finale against the New Orleans Saints. After the game head coach DeMeco Ryans announced something we have all known for weeks: C.J. Stroud will be the starting quarterback in Baltimore against the Ravens in week one.
Here are 11 observations from the win over the Saints.
C.J. Stroud led a touchdown drive in his final preseason action. It was one of the only things left on the list for Stroud to accomplish this preseason. He’s checked almost all the boxes you would have hoped he would check and is headed to the regular season now as the starter. His comments postgame were nice too. Stroud was grateful but explained there was plenty of work left.
