Depth on Clear Display During Minicamp

The Texans look like a much deeper team than last season

Before DeMeco Ryans knew Danielle Hunter was rushing from the end spot opposite Will Anderson, before the trades for Stefon Diggs and Joe Mixon, and before the draft filled out the final few spots of the roster Ryans was in Indianapolis for the NFL Scouting Combine.

It was the last question in his meeting with local reporters and he lamented how the Texans were down to backup players at the safety spot against the Baltimore Ravens. The Texans needed to stay healthy. They needed consistency. They needed depth.

It feels like they have it now.
