The Houston Texans beat the Carolina Panthers 20-3 in their second preseason game.

Here are 11 observations from the win.

  1. C.J. Stroud’s day was done quickly. It was highlighted by a touchdown pass to Nico Collins to end the second drive. The offense got the ball out fast. Stroud found Nick Chubb for a reception when his receivers didn’t win fast enough. It was enough for Stroud after the touchdown to Collins. It would stand to reason that the joint practice on Thursday will serve as Stroud’s preseason finale.
