Adding to all you said about the offense, how much of these two losses is on Nick Caley's game plan and preparation? It's not like we have not known we'll be without Joe Mixon for a while. Dare Ogunbowale was so two years ago. We all loved him as a backup kicker while Fairbairn was out.

Agree with your grades. Didn’t care for the play calls when 1st & goal at the one, but thought Caley called a decent game otherwise. Can’t blame him for lack of talent on the O-line or Stroud’s poor performance.

I had forecast the Texans to finish 2025 with a 8 & 9 record but that might have been too optimistic. They need to draft 2 - 3 nasty offensive linemen next year for that record to improve.

Stroud is saving the Texans a whole lotta money with his poor play. Next year’s contract extension will be worth much less than originally anticipated.

Stroud is a baby and softer than Charmin. He needs to grow up and become more of a competitor and leader. He’s like the new LT that freaks out when the bullets fly. I really hope he can turn it around.

Fairbarin kicked into the endzone twice, in fact opening kick-off setting up Tampa on the 35. That’s gotta stop, take full grade off. Bryant was in one play, specifically releasing his block on a boot, turning upfield in wide open space, where CJ threw him open but fell flat on his face, would have been easy 15-20 yards. Schultz did have decent game.

Execution, getting up to line quickly up tempo, looking lost and confused in huddle F-.
