Injury Report Brings Questions About Rushing Attack
Running the ball won't be easy on Sunday if things don't turn around
If the Texans can run the ball well on Sunday it might qualify as a football miracle.
The team eviscerated the Indianapolis Colts in week one showcasing new running back Joe Mixon and the offensive line they had wanted to start for a year. They ripped off 213 rushing yards as they sliced through the Indianapolis defense.
Then week two happened.
Juice Scruggs never made it to the game forcing Jarrett Patterson into action. Dameon Pierce also missed the game. The Colts gave up another huge day on the ground calling into question who was responsible for the week one explosion. Finally, the Texans couldn’t run against the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football totaling only 75 yards on the ground and they lost Joe Mixon to an ankle injury.
