The Houston Texans have their tackle spot settled. Laremy Tunsil and Tytus Howard combine for one of the highest contract combinations of two tackles in all football. The financial commitment to Howard and Tunsil made the selection of Blake Fisher a curious selection in the 2024 NFL draft.
Nick Caserio hasn’t been shy about saying the tackle from Notre Dame could be called upon this season. Injuries happen. Last season the Texans played seven different tackles1. Fisher might not be needed this season much, if at all.
