My Top Seven Wide Receivers for the Texans in the 2024 NFL Draft.

There's plenty of options for a team that needs more weapons

The Houston Texans need to get more weapons for C.J. Stroud. I love the potential of Tank Dell and I believe Nico Collins is closer to the player from 2023 than he is in previous years. Joe Mixon is a nice addition and keeping Dalton Schultz was necessary.

The Texans need more though.

That’s where the 2024 NFL Draft comes into play in 22 days.

This is one of the deepest wide receiver classes I can remember. On day two of this year's draft, there will be impact players, yes difference makers. The Texans seem to agree with their trade from the first into the second.

The top tier of this draft class will be long gone before the Texans are on the clock.

Stroud’s former college teammate Marvin Harrison Jr. looks to continue Ohio State wideouts' success in the NFL. He’s one of the safest players to me. Speaking of impressive universities in producing wideouts, LSU has another top pick coming with Malik Nabers. Rounding out the triumvirate of top pass catchers is Washington’s Odunze.

Brian Thomas is another LSU product I believe will be long gone before the Texans pick. I would also be surprised to see Adonai Mitchell from Texas last long after Thomas.

It might sound like the best of the best are gone. I assure you there are plenty left who can help the Texans replicate and improve what they accomplished in 2023.

Roman Wilson, Michigan

2023 Stats: 48 catches, 789 yards, 12 touchdowns

What I like: Speed demon who can run well and take the top off the defense. He was productive for a team that didn’t pass much. He played in a pro-style offense. Wilson can play inside and outside. He’s been one of the best offseason performers.
