Offensive Line Uncertainty Elicits Fear of a 2017 Repeat for Texans
The Texans must avoid a repeat of six seasons ago.
The Houston Texans are experiencing deja vu.
The Texans have a franchise quarterback set to start and serious questions exist about the team’s ability to protect their prized passer.
Deshaun Watson didn’t stand a chance for most of the 2017 season. Watson’s athleticism definitely helped him avoid pressure, but he took a beating. The beating caught up to him in 2018 to the point where he took a bus to Jacksonville to play in a game against the Jaguars. It led to Bill O’Brien gutting two drafts for Laremy Tunsil which ultimately fixed just one spot as the interior line was still unsettled for Watson’s tenure as starter.
