C.J. Stroud earns an A for his performance. I know he has an A+ performance in him, so I can’t call yesterday A+ just yet but it was close. The third down play where he never saw the linebacker is the lone big mark on the day. The totality of this performance is one of the best from a first-year quarterback in the history of the team. It was another huge step forward for the rookie quarterback who has established himself as one the best new quarterbacks in the NFL.

  • This was a tone-setting moment for the day. C.J. Stroud scanned the field quickly and then decided to send it to Tank Dell. It was dropped right into Dell’s arms between two defenders. It was a beauty of a throw and the first of a few connections between the two rookies. Tank Dell noted it and you will too when you look credit to the offensive line who allowed zero push to the Jaguars.
