One Day Later: Texans Airing it Out and Defense Still Struggling to Close
Plenty to like and plenty to clean up after the win
Bobby Slowik Evolved
Bobby Slowik changed the way he did business. The offense for the Texans had been struggling to find their explosiveness. The successes of the Jaguars and Steelers games had given way to a disjointed style of offense more willing to run the football than most preferred.
Then Sunday got started.
Pass. Then another pass. Then more passing. First downs. Fourth downs. Red zone. Backed up in the shadow of their own endzone. The Texans threw it. The Texans threw it with their rookie quarterback. And they threw it a lot.
And it worked. Really well.
