The Houston Texans and the rest of the NFL are in Mobile, Alabama, this week for the Panini Senior Bowl. The Texans haven’t been strangers when it comes to drafting players from the premier all-star game.

Last year, the first five selections for Houston were all Senior Bowl players. Jayden Higgins, Aireontae Ersery, Jaylin Noel, Jaylin Smith, and Woody Marks were each invited to participate. Marks and Noel, in particular, stood out during the week of practices. Nico Collins, Tank Dell, Jarrett Patterson, Dylan Horton, and Jalen Pitre are all draft picks by the Texans who were Senior Bowl participants.

General manager Nick Caserio has praised the Senior Bowl for putting prospects through their final real football workouts before focus shifts to athletic training for the NFL Scouting Combine. The two teams will each practice three times this week before Saturday afternoon’s game wraps up the week of action.

The Texans have plenty of players to observe this week. Here are seven intriguing prospects for the offensive side of the ball.

Beau Stephens, Guard, Iowa

Stephens and a couple of his teammates will be interesting players in this draft. When healthy, he’s been the starting left guard for the Hawkeyes for three seasons. He’s big, checking in at 6’5” and over 300 pounds. The 2025 season was the best for Stephens as he finished with All-Big Ten and All-American honors. He finished as the top graded pass blocker at Pro Football Focus among interior offensive linemen. Stephens will need to prove himself without his standout teammates, and the Senior Bowl with a loaded group of defensive linemen will be just the place.

Gennings Dunker, Tackle, Iowa
