Quarterback Questions Arise for Texans on Offense and Defense

C.J. Stroud and the defense's allowance to quarterbacks are the focus

C.J. Stroud did not practice on Wednesday and is still in concussion protocol. DeMeco Ryans said the quarterback is “getting a little bit better” but is still in the NFL’s concussion protocol.

This doesn’t bode well for his chances to play on Sunday. Derek Carr, who was concussed in the fourth quarter of a game and played the following Sunday, practiced on the Wednesday after he entered concussion protocol. Stroud didn’t.
