The Houston Texans held tough for a half, but the second half was all Ravens. The Texans fell 25-9.

Here are 11 observations from the game.

  1. C.J. Stroud had some very clear growing pains. He had more than a few plays where he just flat-out missed the receiver. Some were long misses lacking accuracy. There was one easy throw and he just flat-out missed it. There is a lot to comb through and improve on for Stroud before the home opener next week against the Colts. He has shown the ability to tighten that type of thing up practice-to-practice let’s see if he can do it in a week of games.
