Ryans: Up to Players to Fix Offensive Issues

DeMeco Ryans knows his team needs to play better to fix things

DeMeco Ryans didn’t seem at a loss for words nor was he disgusted by the play from his team.

He simply wants them to play better.

And that’s the way out of this offensive rut the Texans have found themselves in.

The Texans are the league leaders in quarterback pressures allowed. Houston is second in sacks allowed and third in pressure percentage. Three straight weeks the blocking worsened culminating in eight sacks allowed last Thursday.

C.J. Stroud can’t keep playing under these conditions. Ryans and his staff can’t allow it.

The way to change? That’s up to the players.
