Seven Big Thoughts After the Scouting Combine

The NFL Scouting Combine is over, but some of the noise from the week in Indianapolis still rings with free agency around the corner. Here are seven big thoughts coming out of the combine when it comes to the Texans.

Young Wide Receiver Lust

The Texans have to get one of these young wideouts. I feel like I have 15 different players at wideout in this draft class that would fit the Texans. There are ones in the first round through the mid-rounds that make a lot of sense for Houston.

The offense sputtered and was inconsistent when Tank Dell went down with his injury. There needs to be something behind Nico Collins and Dell. The current wideouts on the roster can’t be the third wideout unless there is a massive jump from the young players (John Metchie and Xavier Hutchinson) or an incredible resurgence from Robert Woods or another veteran.

Here’s my six-pack, in no particular, of the wideouts I like the most.
