Some Good News for Texans on Injury Front Ahead of Pivotal Jaguars Matchup
It wasn't all good but better than some days
The Houston Texans hope to play just one opponent this week. The Jacksonville Jaguars come to town losers in eight of their last nine games. Still, it’s a divisional opponent and it won’t be easy.
Houston can’t afford to create another game where they play two opponents.
“It’s very hard to win, again, when you have the Texans and the Vikings playing against the Texans,” DeMeco Ryans said this week. “That’s pretty hard to win that game. So, once we get the Texans out of the way and we just go focus on our opponent and we handle us well, then we’ll be just fine.”
Getting the Texans out of the way is easier said than done.
Houston is the third most-penalized team in the league this season. Their offensive line has had one good performance on the ground and has been poor the rest of the time. The high-powered offense hasn’t clicked and shown its true potential.
Execution has been a problem.
