Stroud in Limbo as Concussion Protocol Continues
The Texans have added a quarterback with the uncertainty looming
Quarterback C.J. Stroud remains in concussion protocol. ESPN reported he is “likely” out and “should” miss another game.
While those words aren’t absolute, nor a true report on his status as you read this, it doesn’t bode well for the chance to see C.J. Stroud return to the football field and play on Sunday.
According to multiple reports, Houston also added another quarterback to their team on Tuesday. Former Jets backup Tim Boyle worked out for the team and was signed. This comes after the Texans tried, and failed, to claim for Jaguars quarterback Nathan Rourke off waivers.
Pursuing a fourth quarterback certainly adds fuel to the fire of Stroud missing a game.
