Texans Blasted at Home by Colts 31-20: 11 Observations from Colts-Texans
The defense of the Texans got diced all day by both Indianapolis QBs
The Houston Texans perpetrated an “H-Town Letdown” in their home opener getting beat 31-20 dropping their record to 0-2.
Here are 11 observations from the loss.
The defense was subpar from the start. DeMeco Ryans never solved the quick attack of the Colts. Player after player attacked space and both Colts quarterbacks found them. It was a well-executed gameplan by Indianapolis head coach Shane Steichen. The Texans are allowing teams to convert on third down at a rate over 50 percent.
