Texans Can Take Plenty of Lessons From Super Bowl
And the Texans know some of these lessons already
The Houston Texans have plenty that they learned from the 2024 football season that started in Indianapolis against the Colts and ended against the Kansas City Chiefs. There’s plenty of reinforcement to those coming out of the Super Bowl.
The Offensive Line was a Disaster
The Kansas City Chiefs watched their threepeat hopes crumble as their offensive line couldn’t protect quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The Philidelphia Eagles didn’t blitz and still pressured the Chiefs 38.1% of the time and amassed 16 total pressures.
The season-long pressure rate allowed for the Texans was 37.9% and they averaged 14 pressures allowed.
