The Houston Texans defeated the Dallas Cowboys 34-10 thanks to an improved second half from the defense and enough from the offense. It was the first win for the Texans on the road against Dallas.

Here are 11 observations from the win.

  1. This wasn’t a complete performance but one you can build off of if you’re the Texans. The offense was held together by Joe Mixon’s incredible day and supplemented by enough from the passing offense. The defense flipped a switch in the second half dominating the Dallas Cowboys. This wasn’t the best game the Texans have ever played, but it is a step forward from the month of turmoil they’d suffered through before this.

  2. This defense has the potential to be the best in football. They have star power
