The Houston Texans held their joint practice in Charlotte, NC, against the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday.
Here are 11 observations from the practice.
Dominance is how I would describe the day for the Texans. They were excellent on offense and defense throughout the practice. The Panthers barely moved the ball. The defense sacked quarterback Bryce Young nearly ten times. Houston’s offense moved the ball consistently and scored touchdowns. It was a masterful performance. DeMeco Ryans was pleased with the workout’s setup and praised the Panthers as hosts. No starters will play in the preseason game Friday. As they have in previous years, this final joint practice served as the preseason finale for most of the roster.
