The Houston Texans lost to the Kansas City Chiefs 27-19. Houston lost more than the game in this one.

Here are 11 observations from the loss.

  1. The Kansas City Chiefs can erase small mistakes and the Houston Texans can’t. When the Texans make a small mistake it usually snowballs into a larger one. Kansas City found ways to overcome small issues. They are better at the fine details than most teams, but certainly the Texans. The Chiefs also don’t make big mistakes, while the Texans do. They aren’t on the same level as the Chiefs and it seems unlikely they’ll get there anytime soon. DeMeco Ryans said they have to clean up the execution and finish better.
