Is it time to ask if Stroud is successful because of, or in spite of, Slowik? My evidence. 4th and 1. Third RB in the game. Rookie RT. Running game not very good. Even worse when the OL bunches up and signals run. Top passing QB. Makes 70-75% completions. Run or pass?
I don't always agree with everything that LL says but in this instance.......a HARD "B" overall is spot on.
This Texans team played well within the top 40% of it's skill level and came away with a win over a pretty good team.
The Bills were missing some key players....but so were we. Allen was playing without his favorite target the whole game and it showed. CJ played without his favorite weapon in the second half and it showed as well. He was also trying to race with his Ferrari and Lambo sitting in the garage.
I think if Nico would have been in for the whole game and we had at least one of our race cars we would have run away with this one....but if Allen would have had Shakir things might have been different?......We may find out later in the playoffs.
I'll take the win.....and hopefully, if we meet the Bills again, it will be in our house again. If we start gelling we may find ourselves the #1 seed and we can heal, watch the others fight it out early and wait for the wounded warriors leftovers to come to us.
Great synopsis every week from the locker room. Landry has his pet peeve against Townsend (The Who) an elite holder who sometimes kicks punts & Stoots favorite kick to the curb rookie, 2nd rd. Swing Tackle Blake Fisher (no penalty Fisher) who without both, never win this game but I digress. Feels a lot better with a W than an L.

Special Teams were terrible except for Fairbahn!!! No discipline!!!

I'm not sure if anyone has relized this yet. By virtue of beating Buffalo......we are sitting at the #2 sead in the AFC.
HOW can we beat King Patrick?....Or, King Henry?.........Or, King Lamar?....Who is more important to beat and why?
If we do somehow get the 1st seed what is our best path forward? How do you see this playing out?
