The offseason workouts were drawing to a close for the Houston Texans. As the team made the short trip from NRG Stadium to their practice field across the street, players and coaches were asked about their plans as the break was on the horizon. Derek Stingley Jr. said he would be sleeping. Many players said they planned to spend time with family. The head coach revealed he was headed to Mexico for a trip.

Kamari Lassiter’s answer was simple and epitomized the makeup of the cornerback.

“Working.”

Lassiter would love to build off a stellar rookie season.
