The Texans started March with some of the most cap space in the NFL and thanks to a restructuring of the contract of Tytus Howard they finished the month with some of the most cap space in the league. It wasn’t for lack of spending either. The Texans put together one of the best free agency classes this offseason.

But, what’s the cap space for now?

The Texans have a few weeks until the NFL Draft where they can add to their team with young and cost-controlled talent. While they don’t control who they select until 42nd overall the team has operated as if the second round is the “sweet spot” of this draft.

Until then here are a few ways this cap space could be used.
