The Texans Must Keep Tight End Dalton Schultz

Bringing back Schultz should be a high priority

The Houston Texans must bring back Dalton Schultz. It should be one of the highest priorities this offseason.

I wouldn’t even let him hit free agency! And if he hits free agency I would make sure he comes back to Houston. There should even be consideration of using the franchise tag to avoid a mess in free agency.

It is a necessary element of 2024 to have Schultz back on this team and execute this offense.

There are three reasons why it makes a ton of sense to make sure Schultz is still in a Texans uniform. He fits well, he’s not easily replaced, and the cost doesn’t ruin the offseason.
