Wow, there are some tough cuts there. Yet, that speaks to progress. When you go from rotational player to being on the street it means you’ve added some better football players.
Hopefully the amount of potential ‘big name’ cuts means that we have a good football team developing. I think I speak for all of us when I say i believe that.
Nice summary Cody! Definitely some growing up pains and talent reality moves addressed. Initial thoughts - Patterson, Deculis C/G flexibility is a big strategic advantage. Also, Heck can definitely play LG. At WR I though Amari Rogers flashed on occasion last yr, but if Metchie/Dell develop as expected Amari will be in another uni soon. On the DL front Henish analysis is spot on! One of the few DT's that didn't get run blocked into safety positions! He also eats double teams well. Lopez and Booker were unfortunately out of position a lot last year. This is a position group w a leap in talent. In closing - our LB's are prime for breakout potential - the talent is far beyond what the group looked like last year, and the scheme will reveal the potential of all that speed and physicality! Good stuff Cody!

The hope is the decisions are hard! You're right.

The more recognizable the cut sometimes the better his replacement!

I might have been a little too low on Roy Lopez! Something I need to pay a little closer attention to in the coming days.
If Noah Brown doesn't make the roster who takes his spot?
If Brown isn't on there it would mean some young guys stepped up and made him expendable.
