The Houston Texans had a thrilling 2023 season. It was one of the best in the team’s history and set a jumping-off point for this team's bright future.

I wanted to look at some of the top moments from the season uniquely. I am a big pro wrestling fan from back in the day and my favorite event every year is the Royal Rumble. I have been to four of the events and it is a blast. Yes, I know wrestling is fake, but it has entertained me for years.

The Rumble has 30 entrants and you’re eliminated if you’re thrown over the top rope. Two entrants start and every 60 seconds a new one enters. The Royal Rumble is tonight so I figured let’s put a Texans spin on it.

Here are the 30 moments from the 2023 season that I would put in a Texans Moments Royal Rumble.

1. C.J. Stroud completes his first pass to himself

2. C.J. Stroud hits a huge play to Tank Dell to start the game against Jacksonville.

3. Andrew Beck unexpectedly fields a kickoff and takes it 85 yards for a score

4. C.J. Stroud to Tank Dell puts a dagger in the Jaguars

5. The triple-touchdown drive against the Pittsburgh Steelers where multiple scores were overturned before the Texans finally had one that stood.

6. C.J. Stroud to Dalton Schultz on a play the team hadn’t run in weeks to take the lead in Atlanta.

7. C.J. Stroud throws his first interception of the season but Nico Collins forces a fumble and the Texans get the ball back and score.

8. Steven Nelson has a few rough moments but seals the win over the Saints with an interception.
