What's Next for This Offensive Line of the Texans?
What options does the team have to replace yet another injury
Stop me if you’ve heard this before: The Houston Texans have another necessary shuffling of their offensive line.
Center Jarrett Patterson, who had been referred to as a staple through the first seven weeks, is injured and headed to the injured reserve. Houston will likely turn to their fourth-different center this weekend against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
It is yet another in the long line of injury issues that have plagued this offensive line.
Patterson was the third center for this team. Scott Quessenberry was lost for the year in the preseason. Juice Scruggs suffered a hamstring injury at the end of the preseason and has yet to take a snap in the regular season.
Patterson had been a stabilizing force but add the center position back to the chaos.
